Lady in Sentosa,Singapore

A mid-year holiday was just around the corner.Everything throughout the semester had been settled down as well. And,it was the right time for a lady to have a short break even it was just an one-day trip.Since Dad had received plenty of offer tickets to a theme park,we decided to visit Singapore.

A well-known international theme park,Universal Studio is just located at Sentosa Island,Singapore. We travelled by rail to the island which costed $3 for a two-way.Soon,we alighted at the first station,Sentosa Station. We took an elevator to the ground floor and Universal Studio is just located there.

The 'Universal' sign was indeed a great place to have a memorable photo.Ticket booths are all located beside.Weather was hot enough for both dad and me.After a long queue,we got a pair of tickets for $60 instead of $74 each but their perfomance was excellent and satisfied us.

Excited to see the entrance right in front of us!Imagining what rides would we have later..Thinking what expressions would we carry out later..Exhilarating.Gosh,impatient to queue before entering!

A huge panda from a animation movie-Kungfu Panda greeted us merrily and shaked hand with the lucky ones. The staffs looked busy to prepare for the day,it was a bright Sunday. The entrance was getting more and more people to queue up and waited to have fun.

Guess where I was?Hollywood St.!Remember the only city fulled with famous stars eg. Marilyn Monroe. The park map guide was also available at this street. You will also meet the stars during weekend if you're lucky enough. So sweet and lovely <3

Once the gate opened, everyone was rushing but I had no idea where were they rushing toward..Hence we followed them rushing and passed by lots of streets and shops and finally,we found that the way they rushed was actually a Transformer 3D ride station-the first and only in the world!

Wow!We reached the Sci-fi City zone instead of Hollywood zone. That was a huge Transformer character for visitors to have photos. Most of them was having their first ride here too!As I could see,the surrounding cleanliness of environment and those buildings were well-mantained.Great!

After a short waiting time,we wore 3D glasses.Our first ride began here.A truly 3D experience.The ride,what could I say,it was really amazing and superb.You will never experience this before,a must-try ride!

Next,Cyclone and Human, the most exciting roller coasters in the park.I had both of them but I preferred Cyclone as it hanged us in the sky.For Human,it allowed us to have a sit. Both of them accelerates at the same time but on the different tracks.

Ancient Egypt-our next visit zone. Our next ride is Treasure Hunters. We,acted as awesome young treasure hunters and drove our own vintage motor car for an exciting visit through at an abandoned excavation site.By the way,we enjoyed the view of the lake and of the park.

Next,Revenge Of The Mummy. It was also a roller coaster ride  in total darkness. We plagued on all sides by huge fireballs, swarms of scarab beetles and an army of warrior mummies. All we could feel were real and even the temperature, hot and cold. The roller coaster suddenly reversed back and startled us.

Two huge Egyptians were standing firmly in front of the entrance. They looked awful.Lockers are available at here and it's free for the first hour usage. It will be charged $2 for the subsequent 30 minutes.

The third area was Lost World zone. There was a Jurassic Park right here and plenty of simple rides which included Canopy Flyer,Rapids Adventure,a show-Waterworld,etc.

Photo taking session again!Dinasourland water fountain.Looked great for photoshoting.

Having some simple rides.Canopy Flyer. The dino-proof flying vehicle will bring you fly around high in the sky like a pteranodon and enjoying the prehistorical bird's eye view of Jurassic Park.It was really fun.

Far Far Away was the park's forth zone.Directly imagining movie stars and talking donkeys…The lifestyles of rich and fairy-taled.You can enjoy Shrek 4D Adventure or sing along with our favorite steed at Donkey Live.

Shrek 4D Adventure was located right inside here.Through the miracle of Ogrevision we saw,we can see, hear, and feel the action right from our seats. The story was about to save Princess Fiona and the actions completed with jumps, bumps, bounces, air blasts and water spray.

It was a bit like Disneyland castle. The English style castle was surrounded with beautiful lush green bushes and a water fountain. It was suitable for young teens to have a troll at here.

Next junior roller coaster ride-Enchanted Airways.Guests of all ages are allowed to climb aboard Donkey’s beloved Dragon for a flight over Far Far Away and beyond. But,in fact this was not really suitable to young kids as for me.

Based on the hit DreamWorks Animation film,Madagascar, this zone brings you to a dense tropical jungle, filled with strange and wonderful animals like lemurs and foosas.

Madagascar:A crate adventure. It was actually a river boat ride and the riverside show was indeed beautiful and nice.A young kid will like this the most,I think.

The entrance of King Julien's Beach Party-Go-Round,a family carousel.

It spinned us round and round to the beat of high-energy dance music in this crazy carousel. It was sure to be a family favourite.

Soon,we were back again to the Hollywood St. and we directly went to the New York City zone. The classic landmarks and buildings are all here for visit.Street entertainments and different themes of shows are also available here for viewing.

New York police car with the impressive city skylines, neon lights, and facades that set the scenes for big city fun and real-time movie production. This is New York in United State of America, biggest and grandest city!

Strolling along the sidewalks and we could feel the spirit and energy of New York for the pasts. We took photos as much as we could as the buildings and landmarks around were really nice to have a photosnap!

This was the national public library of New York and it is built here for viewing only.A lot of people sat at the stairs here to have a rest and enjoy the New York city street scene.

We had a look at the street entertainment- The Rockafellas. The street of Big Apple and New York City bring all an up close and personal taste of B-Boyin.

The cinema/showroom there.I thought it was the real one but  it wasn't.I'm sure you'll like the old buildings and landmarks as it considered as slightly like the scene in New York City.

Our first ride in New York City-Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase which is the brand new themed ride for families and young kids.Elmo and his friends are standing outside for you to take a photo! It looks cool and new as it's the only ride in the New York zone.

What Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase about? It's actually you'll going on a mission with the famous  Sesame Street super heroes to stop Macaroni the Merciless in his plot to steal all the spaghetti from Earth.

While we were queuing,it was a part that we had to queue from indoor to outdoor and back again to indoor. It was a bakery and the breads were produced by the Sesame St. heroes and characters. It looked real, nice and edible but in fact we can't.

This was the ride we took.It hanged high without the track. It brought us to the story of how Elmo completed his mission with his friends. It was fantastic.

Our next show-Lights,Camera,Action! hosted by Steven Spielberg,a famous director in New York City.It contins incredible special effects as an empty soundstage becomes the setting for a Category 5 major hurricane. It was an effect show.

The last zone for the park,Hollywood zone.Imagine during the time stepping onto the Hollywood walk of Fame, you will feel as if you have landed in the center of the entertainment universe, exactly like Hollywood!

Mel's Dinettes-the stage performance. It is a fast food restaurant,Mel's Drive In,located beside selling burger, french fries, etc. The three waitresses were having dance for visitors involving Shake, Rattle & Roll.

Monster Rock Show at Pantages Hollywood Theatre. Fitted with cutting-edge cinematic technology, including state-of-the-art digital projectors, this mega-monster spooktacular features great music, dancing, comedy, special effects, and enough pyrotechnics to wake the dead.

The Pop store selling snacks and drinks. At here, you'll meet the Universal cast of characters from the glamorous Marilyn Monroe to the wacky Woody Woodpecker and more, along this legendary Hollywood Boulevard.

It was time to get home. The Hollywood zone,it was also the time to say goodbye. The last I did was taking photos with the Universal cast of characters, and it was a lady first time meet,so surely excited. And,I admitted I was a bit depressed since we were leaving there.I promise I'll be back soon!
